00:55 - The Office: Kevin's broccoli
- 1/2 lb broccoli florets
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 2 egg yolks
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- paprika
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- olive oil, salt, pepper
1. For the broccoli: Toss the broccoli florets with the garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 mins.
2. For the hollandaise: Bring 2 inches of water in a saucepan to a boil and simmer. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and lemon juice and place over the double boiler. Slowly pour in the melted butter, whisking constantly until itβs fully incorporated and thickens. Remove from the heat and mix in the seasonings.
3. For the bread crumbs: Poss the bread crumbs with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Bake at 400 until golden brown.
4. Put everything together!

- chow mein noodles (cook noodles)
- onion
- garlic
- green onion (separate whites and green)
- bean sprouts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder
- black pepper
- water
1. Sautee the onion whites, sliced onion, and garlic with oil over medium heat. And remove from the heat.
2. Into a clean pan with a bit more oil, toss in the noodles and cook for 1 minute on each side to crisp up. Toss in the cooked onions along with the onion greens, bean sprouts, and sauce. Cook until the noodles absorb the entirety of the sauce and enjoy : )
07:20 - Gossip Girl: Lemon champagne mocktail
- non-alcoholic sparkling tea, chilled
- 1 cup lemon juice (divide into 3/4 and 1/4 cups)
- 1 cup sugar
- lemon peel
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup + 1/2 cup sugar
1. To make the lemon syrup: Heat together 3/4 cup of lemon juice and the sugar over medium heat until dissolved. Reduced the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes until thickened. Remove the syrup from the heat and stir in the remaining lemon juice. Chill completely!
2. To make the candied lemon peels: Peel the lemon into long thin strips, place into a pan with water and bring to a boil - repeating this 2-3 times. Bring the sugar and water to a boil and reduce to low heat. Stir in the lemon peels and simmer until they turn a bit transulcent. Strain and toss in sugar.
3. To make the drink, add 3 tbsp of the lemon syrup to the bottom of your glass. Top with the sparkling tea, and garnish with the lemon peel!

for the hotdogs:
- buns
- hot dogs
- saurkraut
- spicy brown mustard
- 1 onion, chopped
- olive oil
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cayenne powder
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
1. For the onion sauce: Heat the olive oil over medium heat and saute the onions until soft. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
2. Heat the hot dogs in a frying pan for 8-10 minutes over medium heat. Place the dog into the bun, top with mustard, saurkraut, and onion sauce. Enjoy : )
for the papaya drink:
- 1 papaya
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 limes
- 1/4 cup crushed ice
1. Blend together all the ingredients until creamy and frothy, enjoy : )
16:52 - Charlie Brown's chocolate chip cookies
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 1 egg
- vanilla paste
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- chopped dark chocolate + sea salt
1. Brown the butter over medium heat and cool.
2. Mix the butter with the two sugars.
3. Add in the egg and vanilla, mixing to combine.
4. Fold in the dry ingredients along with the chopped chocolate.
5. Chill the dough for 15 minutes before scooping into 1/3 cup balls. Add extra pieces of chocolate on top and bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes.
