Rava medu vada is an instant recipe. You don’t need to soak urad dal or blend it. This is a really quick and easy recipe. These vade become nice and crispy and taste just awesome. You can tyr this recipe and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cup or 120 gm fine Rava
• 1/2 cup Curd
• 1/2 cup Water
• Salt to taste
• Finely chopped Green chili
• Grated Ginger to taste
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• Oil for frying
Method:
• In a bowl take rava.
• Add curd and mix well.
• You can use buttermilk in place if curd.
• Add water and make thick batter.
• Beat the mixture really good for at least 3-4 minutes so that it will become light and fluffy.
• Add salt, green chili, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin seeds and mix everything well together.
• You can add finely chopped onion if you want.
• Cover and rest the batter for about 15-20 minutes.
• Take the batter and mix it once more.
• Dip your hand in water and make vade from the batter.
• Drop the vade in hot oil and fry well from both sides.
• Fry vade well from both sides until they get nice golden color from both sides for about 4-5
minutes.
• When vade are fried well from both sides take them out, drain excess oil and transfer into a
dish.
• Rava medu vada is all ready.
• Serve with chutney and sambar.
