Floor comes up, holes are filled and treated, insulation laid and then floor back down again. Simple right?
This actually took us about 3 days to do this, not 3 whole days but we needed materials and waiting for deliveries plus learning by doing it ended up a 3 day job.
The holes I ended up just filling with a sealant, no welding or fibreglass just blob it in the holes. Metal paint to prevent rust battens glued down not screwed, I think it came out really good in the end!
