The Gospel of Mark reveals to us how incredible Jesus' power is as the Son of God. In this story, even the impure spirits know and recognize Him for who He is. This speaks volumes about His power as the Son of God because this shows the great heights of the power of the good over evil. Through His power, we are given the fruits of the Spirit and the protection over evil. We gain peace, love, and His healing when we recognize His real identity and His place in our lives.
