The adventure continues! In this second installment of our Dublin Aikikai Aikido trip to Japan, we bid farewell to the dojo and embarked on a captivating journey to explore the cultural treasures of Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, and Arashiyama.
Our post-training travels took us to:
Osaka: A bustling city full of vibrant street life, delicious food, and iconic sights like Osaka Castle and the lively Dotonbori district.
Nara: Home to the famous Nara Deer Park, where we walked among freely roaming deer and visited the majestic Tōdai-ji Temple, housing the Great Buddha.
Kyoto: A city rich in history, where we wandered through serene temples, ancient streets, and breathtaking landmarks like Kinkaku-ji (the Golden Pavilion).
Arashiyama: A picturesque area on Kyoto’s outskirts, known for its enchanting bamboo forest and the scenic Togetsukyo Bridge.
This video captures our awe-inspiring experiences as we delved into Japan’s traditional culture, stunning architecture, and natural beauty.
Stay tuned for Part 3, where we wrap up our incredible trip with even more adventures!
