Join us on an incredible journey as nine members of the Dublin Aikikai Aikido group (Michael, Brian, Declan, Justyna, Stanela, Kiko, Lucho, Ismael, and myself) explore the vibrant heart of Japan! This video captures Part 1 of our two-week adventure, focusing on moments from the first week.
We trained diligently at the world-famous Hombu Dojo, enhancing our skills and immersing ourselves in the spirit of Aikido. Additionally, we had the privilege of attending the IAF (Irish Aikido Federation) Seminar, a highlight of our practice in Japan that year.
Beyond the mat, we took time to discover Tokyo’s unique charm and embarked on a memorable day trip to the serene Lake Kawaguchi, surrounded by breathtaking views of Mount Fuji.
This video showcases candid moments, our shared experiences, and the vibrant energy of Tokyo, alongside the tranquility of the Japanese countryside.
