Kapil Tiwari, the former director at Adivasi Lok Kala Parishad, indulges in a conversation with Indira Mukherjee, a folklorist and writer, to share his knowledge on both Gond and Bhil culture.
Emphasizing on the historical and cultural values that the Gondwana community share among themselves, Kapil Tiwari gives it the tag of a “living tradition”. He shares his delight of being able to witness the birth of a new art form, Gond Art, which according to him has added a new characteristic to the identity to the community. He further compares it with the Bhil culture, highlighting the many variations which stand out in both the traditions.
