My intent here is to give as much of an overview of woodcarving knives as i can so that newer folks can make a much more informed decision when they to to purchase a knife, not just based on brand, but based on handles, grind type, blade type and more. Focusing less on who makes it and more on what the pro's and con's of different styles are will make you a more educated consumer and allow you to be much happier with whatever knife (or knives) you end up choosing.
Why didn't i mention other brands? Because I don't own them yet. There are a lot of brands I haven't even had the opportunity to purchase and try yet. Too many to mention.
