PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – This painting tutorial will take you through easy step-by-step instructions on how to paint this beautiful scenery painting and portraiture image of "SUMMER SEASCAPE SWING” with acrylic paint. I have a tough time deciding what my ideal vacation would be. Backpacking through Europe, park hopping at Disney World, taking a cruise around the Mediterranean, driving cross-country, island surfing at Hawaii, hiking through National Parks and UNESCO World Heritage sites, are just a few fantasy filled fun getaways that come to mind, but, at the end of the day, there’s probably nothing better for my body, mind, soul, and psyche, than just sitting on a beach, staring off at the distant horizon and just letting my entire being just unwind, destress, and relax. I can envision it now—sun on my face, warm breeze flowing through my hair, the smell of the ocean, the sounds of the crashing waves, and soft sand in between my toes, sounds like a tropical paradise, the ultimate escape, the perfect holiday, the finest vacation! But even though I can’t be there right now, doesn’t mean I can’t dream it, or better yet, paint it! So, join me for this easy acrylic painting tutorial and capture the essence of your fantasy magical paradise oasis. Just grab a brush and imagine yourself in Greece, the French Riviera, Key West, Malibu Beach, the Azores, Fiji, or wherever your heart and imagination take you and create this ocean landscape portrait of your dreams. The first lesson you’ll learn is how to use simple color mixing and painting techniques for blending natural colors for the background of the sky, water and sand for added depth and atmospheric dimension in the beach scene, the perfect backdrop for your beautiful, lovely lady to unwind in. Then, after using chalk to draw the outline for your relaxing woman, you’ll learn to mix colors to create your own custom suntan skin tone to apply as a base coat. The next art tip is how to paint hair with a one brush stroke technique, that is so easy and fun, you’ll have a tough time putting the paint brush down. You'll learn to add form and shape on the girl’s head and hair and then add small details of sunlit strands of hair showing the movement, direction and volume of her long locks as she swings through the air. You’ll then paint a dress by layering colors to accentuate the contours and form with properly placed highlights and shadows for dimension and texture for transparent fabric creating a 3-d photo realistic appearance. Then you'll paint the shadow of a palm tree in the sand, a wood seat and rope on a tree swing. Give your painting a pop of color by adding bright and vibrant tropical flowers to your swing. You’ll be amazed at how easy it will be to draw any type of flower you want with just a few simple brush strokes, whether it’s a rose, daisy, iris, orchid, carnation, or hydrangea. You’ll finish off this secluded island beachy landscape lesson by adding a personalized signature. Using only 3 brushes and 7 colors we'll create this tranquil female figure masterpiece with a nautical narrative. Not just a beautiful painting, but and easy painting for beginners. So, let's get painting and let's get sipping!
