This week we've been test driving the Lexus LBX which is their smallest car to date! Just because it's small, doesn't mean it's tiny, and it certainly doesn't mean it's not as premium as other Lexus cars on the market.
To begin with, it has a bigger boot than a Volkswagen Golf, and has plenty of space for Golf Clubs, prams and most ordinary luggage.
In terms of the chassis and engine, it's built on the same chassis as the Yaris & Yaris Cross, and it's powered by a very similar hybrid engine too - although it does have marginally more power.
In the rear, things are tight, however it's perfect for your kids. Up the front, it is a lovely place to be. The steering wheel is soft, thin and comfortable in the hands. It also benefits from the regular and sophisticated Lexus infotainment system that we're used to seeing in cars from the brand.
Overall, it opens Lexus up to a new customer who might not have previously considered buying a car from the manufacture.
We hope you enjoy our review, and thanks for watching.
