In this video, I am making Lipton Onion-Roasted Potatoes. The recipe is right on the back of the Lipton Onion Soup box. These powdered soup packets can be purchased just about anywhere for under $2.00. This recipe is super simple and they came out absolutely delicious.
I did deviate from the box recipe as it called for 1/3 cup olive oil. I ended up using half that amount of olive oil and the other half I used vegetable broth. Even using half the recommended oil, these still came out amazingly crispy.
You will need:
4 Large Potatoes
1 Packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1/3 Cup Olive Oil
Instructions:
1. Chop up the potatoes into large chunks
2. Add all ingredients into a 13 x 9 baking pan
3. Mix well to ensure the potatoes get fully coated
4. Bake at 425 Degrees F for 35 Minutes
To go with our potatoes, I also made a large salad and some of our favorite baked beans, but you could easily serve these potatoes with just about anything, or on their own.
