In this episode, Jono shows you how to create a Groove Template. By analysing the transients of an audio file, Logic Pro X can create a 'map' which can then be used to Quantize other audio and MIDI regions within a track. This is a great technique to use if you're working with a slightly wonky (human!) groove and you like its vibe. Rather than having to tame slight timing inaccuracies, instead you can apply them to other sounds, locking the feel of your production together.
