I tinkered this together a while back to allow me to transmit some of the on line old time radio shows to my large console AM receiver in the living room.
The unit has a range of about 1000 feet which is enough to cover the house and most of a city block without FCC rule violations.
The antenna and feed line is crucial at about 100mw output.
Anyone putting one of these on the air should familiarize themselves to make sure of the proper RF field strength.
I chose to build the unit with vacuum tubes in keeping with the period nostalgia of the old time radio scene.
The unit has a very mellow sound and outstanding fidelity when listened to through a modern Stereo Hi Fi and even better through my old Sears Airline Console.
I am not enabling comments as the design is proprietary and if I produce these units I don't want to give away the research and time spent on product development.
Still, many drawings are available on line and I can assure you it will be a fun project.
With best of luck.....
