In this episode, your host, Mathew Gnagy will take you through the steps to make this Spanish-Style, Elizabethan era jacket for a male-bodied individual. At the end of the last episode, we saw a basted fitting which required me to make a small adjustment in the shoulder area. With each pass of stitching and sewing, the work progresses. From additional buttonholes, to pad stitching the collar, to making the silk thread covered bead buttons, this video has lots to offer. The careful contouring of the garment as well as the historically accurate collar lead to an incredibly comfortable garment that is effortless to wear.
