This video tutorial shows how to create a non-traditional bottom opening Sterling Silver and gemstone locket. In this one I used a stunning piece of Red Creek Jasper that looks like an impressionist painting. The materials I used were: 14 gauge sterling round wire, 14 gauge sterling square wire, 26 gauge sterling sheet, 18 gauge sterling sheet, and 3/16 inch fine silver bezel strip in 26 gauge, 2.34 mm outside diameter fine silver tube, hard silver solder, and My-T-Flux. This one includes how to make a hinge. This is likely an advanced project. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, as I've taught people for most of my life. This hobby turned into a fun side gig for me for years while I taught public school. I love suggestions and hearing about others' experiences. What is your favorite project?
