We extended the plywood flooring in our campervan over the step and this time we're going to frame around it to make a step extension with a bit of added storage space. Even though our van conversion is a jumbo, space is still at a premium and we want to be able to use as much as possible, even if it's only big enough for a pair of shoes (or, shoe, in Tim's case! 🤣).
We also took our second trip in our campervan to explore around Bowerman's Nose in Dartmoor. Building a van conversion is a long journey and we decided we wanted to take it out every now and then so we don't lose sight of why we're converting it in the first place, to be able to travel and explore. And it's nice to see it coming together each time and becoming a little more comfortable. Abi rated the comfort of this second night as 25/100, which is a big step up from 2/100 last time! 😅 One step at a time, it will be great when we've got a proper bed in!
