Matar Kebab made easy with a Few Drops of Oil
Have you ever tried making Matar Kebab at home? If you haven't, you're missing out on a deliciously healthy treat! I just whipped up a batch using only a few drops of oil, and let me tell you, they turned out fantastic. Instead of the usual cooking oil, I opted for Malaysian Palm Oil, which is zero trans fat. Did you know, when used in moderation, Palm oil can actually help balance good cholesterol levels. Who knew a kebab could be both tasty and beneficial for your health?

Ingredients:-
1 chopped small Ginger Knob
3-4 Green Chilies
Green Garlic (alternatively spring onion can be used)
Coriander Leaves
200 gm Green Peas (Matar)
2 tsp + more Palm Oil
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 medium sized finely chopped Onion
Salt to taste
2 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1 tsp Raw Mango Powder (Amchur Powder)
Garam Masala (as per taste or alternatively Kitchen King Masala can be used)
2 spoon Gram Flour
Method:-
In a chopper, take 1 chopped small Ginger Knob
3-4 Green Chilies, Green Garlic & Coriander Leaves
Coarsely grind this mixture and transfer in a bowl
In the same bowl, take 200 gm Green Peas
Coarsely grind matar and transfer in a bowl
Further heat 2 tsp Palm Oil
Add 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
Add 1 medium sized finely chopped Onion
Add Salt to taste
Add pound green masala
Add 2 tsp Coriander Seeds Powder
Add 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
Add 1 tsp Raw Mango Powder
Add Garam Masala (as per taste)
Saute well and add 2 spoon Gram Flour
Combine everything well together and let besan cook
Further add matar mixture prepared
Transfer on a plate and let it cool down
Start making small tikki shape kebabs
Heat Palm Oil in a pan and place kebabs on it
Cook until both the sides turn golden-brown
Take them on a serving plate
