This recipe will have pasta that is generously coated with cheesy, buttery goodness. The crumbled queso fresco cheese adds a mild and not overly sharp flavor to round things up. Bake at 380 degrees (F) for 20-22 minutes
Ingredients
1 box of macaroni pasta + enough water to boil
3 Poblano peppers
1/2 white onion
1 cup half and half
1 cup sour cream (Lala Mexican sour cream)
1 cup panko crumbs
1/2 cup Cotija Mexican cheese
5 Oz Queso Fresco
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup warm water
1 Tbsp minced garlic (about 4 garlic cloves)
1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
1 Tbsp AP flour
1 Tbsp butter
1/2 Tbsp Mexican oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper
Optional- Small bunch of cilantro
