Dayan-Nuur Lake: the jewel of Western Mongolia
Dayan-Nuur is located in western Mongolia, in the Bayan-Ulgiy aimag.
The lake is surrounded by majestic mountains and glaciers, creating a unique atmosphere. Small patches of larch forests can be seen along the shores.
Adjacent to Dayan-Nur are two smaller reservoirs: Khar-Nuur and Sagsag-Nur.
The Hodon-Gol River flows from Dayan-Nuur, flowing through the mountainous regions and valleys of Mongolia.
Fishing on Dayan Nuur Lake in Mongolia began after we stopped and set up camp on the shore. The next day we decided to go fishing.
We fished on the bayou between Lake Haar Nuur and Dayan Nuur, there are a lot of fish here at this time of the year. We fished by spinning, the fish pecked actively and We caught a lot of large grayling.
Fishing on Dayan Nuur Lake has remained in our memory as a special event. We enjoyed the freshness of the air, the beauty of the surrounding landscapes and harmony with nature.
