These thoughts swarmed in our heads as we moved towards her. Today we had to cross the border and set foot on Mongolian soil. We need to pass through the village of Ortalyk, Kosh-Agach, Zhana-Aul, Tashanta, Tsagaannuur and get to the city of Bayan-Ulgiy.
Our way lay through Kosh-Agach, a settlement with a harsh climate. We bought groceries there and wanted to replenish our water supplies. But we couldn't even find water pumps in this locality. The locals directed us to the neighboring village of Aktal, which is not far from Kosh Agach. There should be an artesian well in this village where everyone in the district collects water for their own needs. The village of Tashanta is located in front of the border checkpoint. Tashanta has existed here for quite a long time: the year of foundation is considered to be 1862. Kosh-Agach district, where, in fact, Tashanta is located, is equated in its climate to the regions of the Far North. About
