I am continuing to experiment, seeing how the materials react, trying a new way of working. Who knows, there could be a whole new series of work emerge....
There's something so meditative about manipulating the paint; watching as it swirls and runs as I twist the paper, or spray with more water. And, once the initial washes are down, it's fascinating seeing how, with a little more manipulating, landscapes, or seascapes (?) appear...
I used:
Saunders Waterford HP 300lb watercolour paper
Daniel Smith Payne's Grey watercolour
Daniel Smith Tiger's Eye Genuine
Daler Rowney Sepia acrylic ink
Winsor & Newton Granulation fluid
