In early April, we heard that the cherry blossoms around Kawaguchiko would be at their best, so we planned a one-day trip to Arakurayama Sengen Park, famous for its pictures of cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and a five-story pagoda, and to Oshinohakkai, where there is a spring-fed pond. On the day we went, Mt. Fuji was so beautifully and clearly visible both in the morning and in the afternoon that we were able to capture images of the shopping street, torii gate, limited express trains, and even convenience stores in collaboration with Mt.Fuji.
