Some say Fall brings out the turtlenecks in people's wardrobes. Others lament the loss of daylight in the evenings. One thing is for sure: if you wake up in the morning and go into the mountains, you won't be bummed.
We took this weekend as an opportunity to do just that, squeezing in a quick ride up Mt. Lowe Road to Inspiration Point. The climb is about 7 miles (depending on where you start) and the elevation gain is a little over 3,000 ft. The trail gets technical in some places, but it is wide double track and the views are worth the grind.
