When you don’t know the condition of the track, but the destination is at the top of your list, what do you do? You just do it! Yep, we couldn’t find much information about the track out to the Murrumbidgee Junction camp area but just had to do it so we took the risk and wow it was so worth it. It was one of the best camp spots along the Murray River so far. Where the Murrumbidgee River joins the Murray River.
We also spent a few nights in the tiny town of Koondrook and a night on Pental Island, near Swan Hill, as well as a visit to Miss Keats Reserve just out of Murrabit and end this leg of our Murray River adventure in Robinvale 1400 kms from the source of the river.
