In Episode 5 of my BMW E46 M3 project, we're diving into part 2 of getting this car ready for its MOT! The journey starts with tackling the rear control arms and pressing in new bushes. Next, I install brand-new front and rear shocks alongside Vogtland Sport Lowering Springs, marking the car's first aftermarket modification. These springs lower the ride height, enhance handling by reducing body roll, and still maintain a good level of comfort for everyday driving.
I also fit aftermarket drop links and attempt to replace the bottom V-brace, which unfortunately doesn't go as planned. After all the work, it’s time for the car’s first drive since starting this project, followed by a trip to the MOT center to uncover the results.
