This is the technique I use to climb when I saddle hunt. In my experience, it is faster and safer than any other method except preset sticks. It also requires less equipment and is lighter than multi-sticking. If I wanted to, I could climb about twice as fast as I do in the video. But, the whole reason I switched to SRT was so I wouldn't be sweating and out of breath by the time I got to hunting height. You can cover more ground by taking bigger steps in your foot loop and by moving the ascender up as far as you can reach.
