I went to look at a home someone needs power washed so they can paint. The homeowner wasn't home so I didn't do that. I wanted to talk with the owner first. While I was there I decided to blow the leaves away from the house and yard. What a dusty mess that was!
When I got to the back side of the home, the leaves were very thick. As I was blowing them away to the back towards the ravine, the neighbor came out. She was a bit upset that some of the leaves had gotten onto her porch and her car was getting very dusty. I assured her that I would clean it up and she moved her car.
While we were talking she told me she was disabled and had just raked all the leaves up next to the house causing her pain. She also stated that they had been a mess for at least three years.
No problem! I got everything blown to the back of the houses and then cleaned up the back yards too
making sure I went and cleaned off her porch. In the end both neighbors had their property cleared of most of the leaves and everyone was happy. Well, everyone in those houses anyway.
I will be back to talk with the first homeowner about the power washing another day.
