Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this video, we explore a variation in our two-colour series by turning a striped block into a dynamic diagonal pattern.
Using only black and white clay, we demonstrate how to slice, realign, and reassemble a simple layered block to create a chevron-inspired design.

The key technique involves cutting the block diagonally, keeping the stripe continuity, and rejoining the pieces to form new visual rhythms. Step by step, we show how the pattern shifts through small adjustments—by repositioning, flipping, and aligning with care.

Nerikomi is a meditative process with satisfying results.
We hope you enjoy watching!
