About the Song:
This is my already published mashup of Nightwish's Storytime, merging the remastered original studio track, with Floor’s live vocals from Wacken 2013 and Tampere 2015. It features an epic Floor & Floor duet on the chorus, along with an extended riff section, extended intro, and enhanced orchestral elements.
About the Video:
This music video project took about three weeks to complete. Initially, I planned to use scenes from Pan’s Labyrinth, but after a few tests, due to image issues and regional restrictions in some Asian countries, I decided to take a different approach to avoid further risks of video being blocked.
So, I assembled the new visuals in just a few days, using some free fantasy clips from Pixabay. But what started as a simple clip selection and editing process quickly turned into a creative rabbit hole as I began building a story behind the images and searching for footage to support it. I even reactivated my Kling AI subscription for one month to generate some clips that I needed (most of clips in the soldier's dreams, Imaginaerum cover animation, and the poor/refugees/orphan children between ruins)
The final video reimagines the song’s message, weaving a new underlying theme: escaping harsh reality through stories, tales, and boundless imagination. The scenes representing reality are 90% real footage, while the VR and imagination sequences are mostly AI-generated, with some movie footage incorporated.
