How good is the F5-E Tiger II from USAF in the Swiss Alps? How do take-offs and landings at the airfields in the mountains succeed ? ...is it capable of turning sufficiently and accurately? ... and does it actually serve the requirements of space protection?
These questions will be answered during intensive tests (flight maneuvers, shooting, go-around, take-off) in 1974 with two Northrop F5 Tiger jets from the United States Air Force at Emmen Airfield, Switzerland
