Norfolk & Western J-class 4-8-4 #611 pulled her first public excursions during the weekend of June 6th and 7th. Over 2 days, "The Spirit of Roanoke" operated 3 spectacular round-trip excursions on the NS B-Line between Manassas and Front Royal (Riverton Junction) in northern Virginia.
