Onewheel XRV Power Kit - Drop-in VESC Installation and Review

Having spent considerable money on modifications for my stock board, including rails, footpads, sensors and an RBXR battery, I decided to go with a drop-in VESC kit rather than moving towards an alternative platform such as the ADV2 or Funwheel.

After some research, I settled on the XRV Power Kit from Floatwheel. I purchased it on the 7th of Jan 2025 and it was delivered on the 16th of Jan 2025, taking just 9 days to ship to the UK from China with no import fees.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is the audible coil whine on the VESC kit from Floatwheel (I'm not sure if this is applicable to all VESC boards). Vinie mentions this in a few of his videos:
