Today we need to give some attention to my Catasetum type orchid, the Wine Delight!
▼▼▼More info below!▼▼▼
One of the most common problem with Catasetum orchids, as far as I can see, is the yellowing or rotting of older pseudobulbs. In some cases the infection doesn't spread, but who wants to risk?
My orchid is currently losing its second pseudobulb and I just want to make sure there will be no others lost. I decided to remove the affected pseudobulb and repot the orchid.
I placed it directly in a semi hydroponic setup and removed the oldest roots. And now we wait :)
