I love collage art when it looks light and organic. For this piece I use mixed media and torn paper to achieve that result.
MATERIALS:
CANVAS: 7" x 10" Artist's Loft 90lb watercolor paper canvas
ACRYLICS: Folk Art Silver Marlin, white
CHALK PASTELS: Gray PanPastel, brown stick
MARKERS / PENS: Arteza black Real Brush Pen
INK: DIY black and dark brown alcohol inks (2 parts alcohol, 1 part acrylic 1 part glycerin
COLLAGE / OTHER: Old book paper, copy paper, watercolor paper, black scrap paper, hole punched black & white printed paper
METAL ELEMENT: Tealight wick holder / base
GLUES: Heavy Gel Matte Medium, hot glue
TOOLS / BRUSHES: palette knife, sponge, precision bottle
