This is another full length video I have had up on my members only page for about a year. I only have one member so I thought I would let you all see the full video with each cloud series put together. This painting is a full tutorial and I talk through most of it.
This is unlike my normal silent videos, so I hope you enjoy it all together like this. I put this video together on what seemed to me like a tight deadline so there are a few bits I probably would have tried a little harder on to make it smoother and the edits a little less harsh.
Be sure to let me know in the comments what you might like to see next. I do know I want to do a mountain version, and some water options. Who knows, maybe I will have some full painting tutorials as we progress here as well but I thought it helpful to get some of my techniques out there so you wont be surprised with many new techniques in one whole painting.
I do want to mention, although it shouldn’t need mentioning I will anyway... I am totally new at taking video of myself and editing it, so please be patient with me as I am also learning something new. I hope to be able to make more of these with less takes so there will be less and less editing meaning I will be able to get them out faster to you. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for being here with me.
I filmed the entire tutorial in one day and the birds were going wild I hope you are able to hear them in the film, they really make me happy while I am painting. We are kicking of spring in full force here in Salt Lake City, and I am loving it. I am really looking forward to getting up in to the mountains more as the trails melt of little by little. Painting those gushing streams and rivers.
