In Part 1 we find a great bull on the edge of a saltwater marsh and spring fed swamp.
We lose the blood trail at nightfall and have to wait until tomorrow to finally subdue the bull. (Part 2.)
This is most definitely NOT a HOW TO HUNT BULL BUFFALO, far from it. This is an experiment in the effectiveness of a 500gn lead slug at 1475fps. I will detail the slug in a separate video as that is a stand alone topic.
The slug is a Diabolo shape fired from a rifled barrel. Accurate out to 100m but loses energy pretty quick. So we hit the bull at 20m a couple of times. Slug is 99% pure lead and is not hard cast. After the autopsy, it is very evident that the slugs are wildly inadequate for the task.
