This video is our adventure in the rice fields looking for wild vegetables that can be cooked, namely Sintrong leaves. Abi Akhdan and the children also had fun looking for rice field snails to give to our pet chickens.
Usually we process the small rice snails called Tutut, but because they were still small, we moved them to the fish pond.
Alhamdulillah, it's a fun activity..
🌿 Recipe for "URAP SINTRONG LEAVES" (Anointing is vegetables that are boiled briefly and then given grated coconut that has been cooked with spices)
. One handful of Sintrong Leaves
. 2 Carrots
. 100 gr Bean sprouts
. 150 gr grated coconut
. 7 shallots
. 4 garlic
. 3 large red chilies
. 5 cayenne peppers
. 2 kencur segments
. 1 Tbsp shrimp paste
. 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
. 1 tsp salt
. Powdered broth
🌿 Sintrong Leaf Chips Recipe:
. To taste sintrong leaves
. 50 g tapioca
. 250 g rice flour
. 300 ml (30 ml thick coconut milk & 270 ml water)
. 1 egg
. 1 tsp stock powder
. 1 tsp salt
. 3 lime leaves
. 1 tsp coriander
. 5 cm turmeric
. 2 candlenuts
. Oil
