I came to the lowland riverbed for the first time in a while, and there were already many kinds of wild vegetables.
The buds of the taros and the bracken shoots grow quickly, and before you know it, they are past their prime.
I also picked new shoots of Akebia, the usual Japanese parsley and mitsuba, the weeds Solidago altissima, vetch, and horsetail, and for the first time, Mallotus japonicus.
I also picked morels and wood ear mushrooms in the windbreak.
