Polylines and Smart Snapping - Part 16 - Aspire and VCarve For Absolute Beginners
More down here ↓↓↓ Click SHOW MORE!
This is the 16th in a series of videos geared toward the person who has never worked with CAD or CAM in the Vectric Software before.
In this video, I’ll address a subject I forgot to get into in the Vectric software, thanks to a sharp-eyed viewer named Dirk. (Thank you, Dirk!) We’ll get into creating polylines in VCarve, and I’ll demonstrate some of the new additions to the software, like Smart Snapping and Geometry Snapping. I’ll give you a very brief overview of what those tools are, then I’ll directly answer Dirk’s question: How do you draw a line of a specific length, starting in a specific place?
If you’ve already watched my earlier video on what exactly a vector is, that will help you to understand a little bit more about what we’re trying to accomplish in this video. If you haven’t seen that video, and I highly recommend you do, here’s a link to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnJKh1obXXM
As usual, if you have any comments or questions, please put ‘em in the comment section below.
Thanks for watching!
