Predetermined Offset Shrink Method, How to Measure, Layout and Bend

In this video I will show you how to Measure, Layout and bend an offset using the shrink method. There are a few ways to bend an offset that i know of i will show you in a couple of video's how to bend them. This is the shrink method and in my opinion the quickest and easiest way to bend an offset accurately and efficiently. In the video i gave you the multipliers, write them down or take a screenshot and keep them near you when working, i advise you to actually learn them not memorize them but learn them and look at the trigonometry table to see where they came from and how they relate to the trigonometry table. Those multipliers are actually the cosecant of the bend angles. Anyhow, keep those multipliers in mind and also the shrink values and don't forget that the shrink value are per inch or rise. So multiply the shrink by the amount of rise or offset you are making to get the total amount of shrinkage. If it doesn't matter to you if the conduit shrinks or not then you don't need to take it into account but it's good to get into a habit of calculating the shrink.
