Does the "Z" means Zastava or Russian captured or neither? lol. Just joking about Russian captured. I'm guessing it means the metal work was refurbished in Zastava. While the wood was overhauled by Technical Overhaul Institute #1 (1.TRZ). The "Z" markings are located on the bottom of the top cover and on the receiver below the takedown lever cross pins on both of my refurb M59. If you have any other info? I would love to hear from you.
