Join me for my only fall foliage chase of Reading & Northern's #2102 steam locomotive in 2024. Although I had planned a full day's chase from Reading to Jim Thorpe and back, unfortunate circumstances ended my chase after the morning run.
The day's trip featured a different Reading 6-chime whistle owned by my colleague Steve Gilbert. I wish you all the best in your retirement, Steve! It has been a pleasure working with you the past few months, and I hope I can make you proud in keeping our trains looking as good as you have.
