On October 19, 2023, Dak Dillon Photography hosted a photo charter featuring Rio Grande K-27 steam locomotive 463. For the charter, no. 463 was re-lettered into the 'flying grande' scheme for the first time in 20 years. 463 pulled a consist of D&RGW stock cars along with rider boxcars and a caboose.
