On our way to Aurora, we heard about a settlement called Goedverwacht and decided to take a short detour through it. What a remarkable place with such a rich history; we were glad we made the stop. After exploring Goedverwacht, we continued to Aurora, another charming village on the west coast of the Western Cape, South Africa. Driving through its picturesque streets and meeting wonderful people created unforgettable memories. The Dutch Reformed Church was stunning inside and out and the visit to the Parsonage a wonderful surprise. The food prepared for us was delicious and the beautiful surroundings were absolutely breathtaking.
