साबुदाणा थालीपीठ लागण्यासाठी लागणारे साहित्य
• २~३ हिरव्या मिरच्या
• १/२ चमचा जिरं (ऐच्छिक)
• १" आलं
• कोथिंबीर (ऐच्छिक)
• १ कप भिजवलेला साबुदाणा

With fasting days round the corner fasting recipe is must. We have already seen lot many fasting recipes like sabudana khichadi, sabudana vada, upwas idly, dhokla thalipeeth etc. Here is one more addition to the list. This thalipeeth turns out nice, crispy and you can see whole sabudana pearls in that. Sabudana thalipeeth tastes just awesome and is very easy to make. Ingredients:
• 2~3 Green chilies
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds (Optional)
• 1” Ginger
• Coriander leaves (Optionl)
• 1 cup soaked Sabudana
• Boiled and peeded Potato
• 2 tsp roasted Peanut powder
• Salt to taste
• Chili flakes (Optional)
• 2~3 tsp Water
• Oil / Ghee
Method:
• For making basic masala or vatan ake green chilies, cumin seeds, ginger in a blender jar and
blend it.
• Add coriander leaves and blend it into paste. Vatan or masala is ready.
• Adding cumin seeds and coriander leaves is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• Take soaked sabudana and add mashed potato, vatan, roasted peanut powder, salt, chili
flakes.
• Adding chili flakes is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• Mix everything well together and knead it like dough.
• Add water and mix well.
• Don’t knead it too much, just enough so that good binding.
• It should come together like dough.
• Roll small balls from the dough.
• Spread ghee on the skillet and put a dough ball on it.
• Wet your hand with water and pat the dough to make thalipeeth.
• Turn on the gas and cover the thalipeeth with a lid.
• Roast the thalipeeth on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes first.
• Remove the lid and roast until lower side is roasted well.
• When lower side is roasted well, flip thalipeeth over and roast well from other side too.
• When thalipeeth is roasted well from both sides take it off into a dish.
• Sabudana thalipeeth is all ready.
• You can serve it with surd or upwas limbu lonache.
• You can make 3 medium size thalipeeth from that proportion.
