今回は群馬県水上町にある猿ヶ京温泉に来ています。時代の変化に伴い変わりゆく温泉郷を撮影に出かけました。営業をやめてしまい取り壊されたホテル、また取り壊されずに廃墟化しているホテルが国道沿いに一軒ある状態。
今回感じたことは数年前までお土産やさんが温泉街の入り口に二軒営業をされていましたが、どうやら営業を辞めてしまったような感じでした。（冬季休業中だったらすいません。）
というのも私の記憶では冬場でも営業をしていたなと思ったからです。「このお店頑張っているな」という思い出がありますが、お店が閉まってしまうと寂しいですね。なぜなら私が思うにはこの二軒のお土産やさんが温泉の顔でしたから・・。
この温泉の歴史は400年前とされていて、開湯伝説によれば猿が大やけどを負った子供を温泉に入れて助けたと言われています。

This time I'm at Sarugakyo Onsen in Minakami Town, Gunma Prefecture. I went to shoot a hot spring village that changes with the times. There is a hotel along the national highway that has been closed and demolished, and a hotel that has been abandoned without being demolished.
What I felt this time was that until a few years ago, two souvenir shops were open at the entrance of the hot spring town, but it seemed like they had quit the business. (I'm sorry if it's closed in winter.)
Because, in my memory, I thought it was open even in winter. I have a memory of "I'm doing my best at this shop", but I feel lonely when the shop closes. Because I think these two souvenirs were the faces of the hot springs ...
The history of this hot spring is said to be 400 years ago, and according to the legend of Kaiyu, it is said that a monkey helped a child who was seriously burned by putting it in the hot spring.
