Section E - Fault diagnosis and rectification - AM2 pre assessment manual

In this video I continue talking you through the AM2 assessment using the NET pre-assessment manual, available off of the NET website.

I discuss the types of fault, apply them to a ring or a radial circuit, and discuss the reasoning behind the location description, rectification method and the need to test and prove the repair works.

I also talk you through a simple heating and hot water installation using a flow chart, which will not only help you diagnose where the faults might be, but may also help you get your head around how they are connected.

I’m not 100% happy with this video, as I think I could have done it better, so I’m going to tweak it slightly later on.

But for now, this will get you started.
