In this video, Part 2 of the new series, I cover the Track Plan design phase of the layout and how I approached the selection of track, point motors, signals etc... before setting out and designing the Ravenstonedale track plan itself. Due to the limited size of the layout, I feel that going the extra mile with the planning detail, hopefully ensures that's I don't make the same mistakes as I did on my previous N Gauge layout.
