✨ Ingredients and Recipe
✔️ Roasted Peanuts - 120g or 3/4 Cup
✔️ Homemade Kroeung Kary
▪️ Sliced Lemongrass - 1 Cup
▪️ Garlic - 1&1/2 bulbs ( 15cloves)
▪️ Kaffir Leaf - 5-6 leaves
▪️ Galanga - 6x ( thick sliced )
▪️ Ka- Chai Root - 5 roots
▪️ Red Dry Pepper - 12x
▪️ Turmeric Powder - 2 Tsp
( can also use fresh Turmeric - 2 roots )
▪️ Water - 8L
▪️ Chicken - 6Legs large (1.3kg)
( can also use fish mix with chickens or all fish )
▪️ Galangal - Thick Sliced
▪️ Kaffir - 4x leaves
▪️ Lemongrass - 2x
▪️ Salt - 2 Tbsp & 1 Tsp
▪️ Chicken Powder - 2 Tbsp
▪️ Fish Sauce - 4 Tbsp
▪️ Sugar - 4 Tbsp
✨ Once Chicken are cooked, followed instructions like in video.
▪️ Coconut Milk - 3 Cans ( 1200ml)
▪️ Thai Red Curry - 2 Tbsp
▪️ Fermented Fish - 30g
▪️ Fine chopped chicken with Khmer Kroeung Kary Paste and Peanuts Paste - add everything in ( please watch video for full details )
✨ Last Ingredients when finished
- Fish Sauce - 2 Tbsp
- Sugar - 2 -3 Tbsp ( try with 2 Tbsp of sugar first but I put 3 Tbsp and it taste perfect )
✨ Somlaw Namya should have a good balance of Salty and Sweet taste. Try it and you might like it. 💕
