Create my Spectacle Blends quilt pattern using half-yard fabric bundles. This pattern is limitless, as you can use solids for color play or create an ombre quilt effect. Also, you can use prints with how large our strip sets are. If you're a beginner and love Modern Quilt Patterns, Spectacle Blends is a great start.
Measurements for Half Yards:
Cut two - 8 ½" strips.
From One Strip Subcut:
1 - 39 ½" x 8 ½" rectangle from one strip.
From The Second Strip Subcut:
4 - 2 ½” x 8 ½” rectangles
4 - 3 ½” x 8 ½” rectangles
2 - 4 ½” x 8 ½” rectangles
Colors Used are from Bella Solids by Moda Fabrics:
Boysenberry, Raspberry, Cayenne, Mandarin, Marigold, Electric Lemon, Sprout, Spearmint, Horizon Blue, and Iris.
